SHARK REEF literary magazine publisher Iris Graville visits the Edmonds Library on Monday at 11 a.m., as part of EPIC’s Monday Morning Writing Group. Graville’s talk, ‘Insights on Blogging from a Writer and Literary Magazine Publisher/Editor,’ will feature tips on “creating an online presence through Facebook, Twitter, and blogging to invigorate your writing life.” The event is free, although space is limited to the first twenty people.
Iris Graville’s profiles and personal essays have been published in national and regional journals and magazines, and she blogs regularly from her home on Lopez Island. She is the publisher for SHARK REEF online literary magazine and serves as nonfiction editor for Soundings Review. Iris’s first book, Hands at Work—Portraits and Profiles of People Who Work with Their Hands, received several awards including a Nautilus Book Award. She is working on a memoir, ‘Hiking Naked—A Quaker Woman’s Search for Balance,’ about her life spent in the remote mountain village of Stehekin, WA.
