
Meadowdale struggled on offense, scoring in single digits in all four quarters, in a 74-29 loss to Glacier Peak in a Wesco 3A girls basketball game Friday night at Meadowdale High School.
Ndey Sonko and Ali Steen each scored 10 points for the Mavericks (4-7 in the league, 6-12 overall). Meadowdale remains a game behind fourth place Shorewood (5-6. 11-7), who lost 65-54 to first place Mountlake Terrace. The top four teams advance to districts. Meadowdale takes on Marysville-Getchell and Shorecrest next week.
Glacier Peak (9-2, 17-2) was led by Taylor Baird, who scored 15 points.
