Feb. 26
20800 block 76th Avenue West:  A bike lock is cut and a bicycle stolen from front of victim’s apartment.

Feb. 24
8100 block 238th Street Southwest: Victim reports theft of a bicycle.

10000 block of Edmonds Way: Adult female is arrested for shoplifting, and illegal drugs and paraphernalia were found in the backpack she was carrying.

100 block Sunset Avenue South: Police are called to the Channel Marker tavern to investigate male accused of assaulting his father-in-law.

Feb. 22
24100 block Hwy 99: Victim reports his vehicle was stolen while he was shopping at Burlington Coat Factory.

Feb. 21
21900 block Hwy 99: A man is arrested for shoplifting and during a search police discovered a needle containing heroin.

23600 block Hwy 99: A man enters Safeway and steals a bottle of brandy. Police stop him across the street and find him with the stolen liquor in his possession.

8300 block 212th Street Southwest: A citizen calls to report a driver who appeared to be passed out sitting in a running vehicle. Police make contact with the driver, and he is taken into custody for DUI.

Feb. 20
23800 block Hwy 99: A citizen calls to report a possible impaired driver who had been involved in a collision on I-5 and continued into Edmonds. Police located the driver and the vehicle and took him into custody for DUI.

Feb. 19
300 block 2nd Avenue North: A man calls police to report that he had received a phone call claiming that he needed to bail his grandson out of jail. The man said he sent $7,300 to two separate locations before realizing the phone call was a scam.

21900 block Hwy 99: A woman reports that a female bought her laptop computer and paid for it with a counterfeit $100 bill.

23600 block Hwy 99: Suspects attemp to shoplift baby formula and diapers. Suspects flee after being contacted by security, leaving merchandise behind.

Feb. 18
21000 block 74th Avenue West: Three suspects force their way into an apartment and assault the couple inside. Two of the suspects were friends with one of the victims’ brother.

Feb. 16
23600 block Hwy 99: Female steals items from Safeway. When confronted, leaves purse and runs. Meth and heroin found inside purse.

Feb. 15
18500 block 83rd Avenue West: A 49-year-old man is arrested for breaking down the door to brother’s bedroom and assaulting him.

  1. Do you why there were 5 Edmonds police vehicles blazing down 9th North to Ocean Avenue about 10:30-11:00am on Friday 2/28??


    1. Here’s the word received Monday morning from Edmonds police spokesman Sgt. Mark Marsh: “It likely had to do with the rash of car prowls we had in the downtown and north end areas of the city. Officers actually caught 4 subjects and recovered some stolen property from car prowls in Edmonds and Lynnwood.”
