Umpqua Bank presented a $2,500 check to Clothes For Kids Wednesday during an Open House at Sterling Bank in Lynnwood.

Clothes For Kids was awarded the grant after being voted the top non-profit organization in Snohomish County during a Facebook contest by Umpqua Bank last year. This is the second year Clothes For Kids has been awarded a grant from Umpqua Bank, which presented a $2,500 check in 2013.

Clothes For Kids provides free wardrobes for children throughout Snohomish County. The organization will be celebrating its 30th anniversary with a special Gala and Auction on May 29 at the Future of Flight Aviation Center at Paine Field.

Auctioneer Lance Lambert, from the award-winning Vintage Vehicle Show, will be hosting the event, which features a silent auction and no-host bar, followed by a seated dinner and live auction, and a Clothes For Kids runway fashion show. The My Neighborhood News Network is the media sponsor for the Gala and Auction.
