Sno-Isle Libraries debuts service for downloading movies, TV shows, books

hooplaSno-Isle Libraries brings you a new service that will expand your library enjoyment. On Monday, May 1, the Library debuted a new digital download service titled Hoopla. Get ready to borrow free video, music, and audiobooks with this new service. It’s ready to enjoy on your PC, tablet, or phone. The cost? Free with your library card!

According to the library:

Hoopla is an innovative new service that partners with the public library to bring thousands of movies, television, music and audiobooks for free. There are no costs or hassles. It’s that easy to enjoy everything from Hollywood blockbusters to best-selling authors and artists. There should be something for everyone to enjoy for all ages. In addition to the exciting entertainment, there is an extensive catalog of educational materials, children’s titles, foreign films and other content hard to find anywhere else.

The hoopla web site and mobile apps are easy to use. Forget about waiting lists as there is an unlimited number of copies available to the Library. Start streaming now, or download a title to your phone or tablet for offline viewing later. At the end of the lending period Hoopla returns it for you, so there are never any late fees.

Sign up today using your Sno-Isle Libraries card. Access this service through the Sno-Isle website, www.sno-isle.org.
