Edmonds IGA shoppers can support the Edmonds Historical Museum with every purchase

1012_rewards_cardThe Edmonds Historical Museum is now participating in the Edmonds Market Fresh IGA’s community contribution program, Home Town Heroes, which allows shoppers to support the Museum with every purchase. It’s easy to do, and 1percent of your IGA shopping expenditures will be contributed to the Museum.

To get started, ask the checker to add the Edmonds Museum to your “We Connect” card when you next visit the store. You will need to tell them the museum number, which is 0555. Also ask your relatives and friends to add the museum to their “We Connect” cards, too.

The Edmonds South Snohomish County Historical Society and Museum supports the community through a series of local events including the Spring Garden Market, the Edmonds Summer Market, the fall Scarecrow Festival and the annual Heritage Days Banquet and Auction. The Summer Market, now in its 20th season, runs Saturdays from June until early October along Fifth Avenue North and Bell Street, directly adjacent to the museum.

The museum, housed in Edmonds’ recently-renovated historic Carnegie Library, is open on Summer Market Saturdays from 10 a.m.-2 p.m., and Wednesday through Sunday from 1-4 p.m. Suggested donation is $5 for adults, and $2 for students.
