Fire District 1 fire calls, June 5-18

Fire District 1Snohomish County Fire District 1 responded to 697 calls June 5-18: 559 emergency medical aid calls, 43 motor vehicle collisions, 24 fires, 33 service calls, two natural gas leaks, one technical rescue and 35 automatic fire alarms.

June 5

COLLISION: At 3:33 p.m., a three-car collision was reported at 224th Street SW and Highway 99 in Edmonds. Firefighters transported one patient to Swedish/Edmonds Hospital.

HOUSE FIRE: At 6:55 p.m., firefighters responded to a fire at an abandoned house in the 16000 block of 2nd Place West east of Martha Lake. The house and a garage were engulfed in flames when the first fire engine arrived. It took crews about 25 minutes to get the flames under control. No one was injured. Investigators determined the fire was intentionally set.

COLLISION: At 7:22 p.m., a two car-collision occurred in the 5800 block of 134th Place SE east of Everett. Firefighters transported one patient to Providence Regional Medical Center Everett.

June 6

CAR FIRE: At 3:05 p.m., firefighters responded to a car fire in the 1400 block of 164th Street SW northeast of Lynnwood.

June 7

COLLISION: At 7:53 p.m., a man was injured when he fell off his motorcycle near 143rd Street SE and Cascadian Way northeast of Lynnwood. He was transported by firefighters to Harborview Medical Center.

June 8

COLLISION: At 1:39 p.m., a car struck a pedestrian in the 13100 block of 4th Avenue West south of Everett. Firefighters transported the injured pedestrian to Providence Regional Medical Center Everett.

COLLISION: At 9:48 p.m., a car struck a pedestrian at 14th Place West and 164th Street SW northeast of Lynnwood. The injured pedestrian was transported by firefighters to Providence Regional Medical Center Everett.

June 9

GAS LEAK: At 1:53 p.m., firefighters responded to a natural gas leak in the 500 block of 184th Street SW near Lynnwood High School after a construction crew working in the area ruptured a main. The road was closed for about two hours while crews shut down the gas line. No one was injured.

June 10

COLLISION: At 11:39 a.m., three cars were in involved in a collision in the 16400 block of Larch Way northeast of Lynnwood. Firefighters transported one patient to Swedish/Edmonds Hospital.

June 11

COLLISION: At 2:08 p.m., three cars were involved in a collision at 120th Street SW and 4th Avenue West south of Everett. Firefighters transported one patient to Swedish/Mill Creek Emergency Room.

COLLISION: At 7:05 p.m., firefighters responded to a three-car collision at 164th Street SW and Alderwood Mall Parkway north of Lynnwood. Two patients were transported to area hospitals.

June 13

COLLISION: At 8:10 p.m., a head-on collision was reported in the 22100 block of Highway 99 in Edmonds. Firefighters transported one patient to Harborview Medical Center and one patient to Swedish/Edmonds Hospital.

June 17

BRUSH FIRE: At 6:01 a.m., firefighters extinguished a brush fire on the right shoulder of northbound I-5 south of Everett Mall Way in Everett. No one was injured.

June 18

COLLISION: At 1:44 p.m., firefighters responded to a two-car rollover collision with fire on southbound I-5 north of 236th Street SW in Mountlake Terrace. All occupants were out of their vehicles when firefighters arrived. Firefighters extinguished the fire. No one was injured.

COLLISION: At 4:38 p.m., two cars were in involved in a collision in the 15600 block of Highway 99 north of Lynnwood. Firefighters transported one patient to Swedish/Edmonds Hospital.
