You may have noticed during Thursday’s Art Walk Edmonds the sidewalk art gallery of James Sheppard, which was located on Main Street, just down from Rouge. Colorful, compelling and compassionate was my take on the collection. Compassionate because the sidewalk gallery was organized as a fundraiser by Sheppard’s brother, Heronemo (seen here with friend Sherry Hoffman) to benefit the artist, who is battling leukemia. — From Emily Hill
