Scene in Edmonds: Summer market season arrives

My Edmonds News was there to capture scenes from opening day of the Edmonds Museum Summer Farmers Market, including these beautiful flower bouquets for sale. The market will run every Saturday from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. through early October.

Gorgeous fresh berries were going fast.

Craft booths were also popular, including these wooden bowls and utensils.
Given that the market is sponsored by the Edmonds Historical Museum, it’s only fitting that the museum’s current exhibit — running through Oct. 5 — is “Growing Season: Farming in Snohomish County.”
