Scene in Edmonds: 85th Street Band launches Concerts in Park series

Music fans of all ages gathered at City Park Sunday to hear the big band sounds of the 85th Street Band, kicking off the 2014 Edmonds City Park Summer Concerts series, The lively, 20-piece band played swing favorites from the 1930s, ’40s, and ’50s, including tunes made famous by Glenn Miller, Duke Ellington, Benny Goodman and Nat King Cole.
