Zoning changes proposed for both the Westgate and Highway 99 commercial areas are on the agenda for the Tuesday, Aug. 27 Edmonds City Council meeting. The council will also discuss the idea of changing its meeting format to include alternating weeks of information-only work sessions and council business meetings, where votes are taken.

-An informational presentation on affordable housing by Mark Smith, Executive Director of the Housing Consortium of Everett & Snohomish County.
– Discussion and possible action on Municipal Court Judge compensation.
The meeting will begin at 6:30 p.m. with an executive session on collective bargaining, followed by an interview of an applicant for the Edmonds Sister Cities Commission.
