The public is invited to take part in Chapter by Chapter: an Edmonds Literary Walk taking readers and writers on a literary sampler starting at the Edmonds Library and proceeding to the EdCC Conference Center, Edmonds Bookshop, and Hazel Miller Plaza on Sept. 13.
The literary walk includes stops and events with light refreshments at these four locations:
9:30 a.m. Participate at the Edmonds Library. Kickoff the adventure with novelist Bernadette Pajer, who will guide you in creating your own literary piece. Hosted by EPIC Group Writers and the Edmonds Library.
10:30 a.m. Process at the EdCC Conference Center. A guided Q & A with published authors and writing instructors from U Learn/ArtsNow.
11:30 a.m. Publish at the Edmonds Bookshop. Gather insider tips about indie publishing.
12:15 p.m. Present at the Hazel Miller Plaza. Kathleen Flenniken, former Washington State Poet Laureate, will read poetry. Walk participants will be invited to read poems written that morning.
The event is free. No registration required.
