Edmonds Rotary supports families in need at Trinity Place

The Edmonds Rotary Noon Club in many ways entertains and supports moms and children in need at the YWCA Trinity Place residential units in Lynnwood. This week the noon club held for them the annual barbecue with Chef Jeff of Special Occasions Catering featuring hot dogs, hamburgers, salads, watermelon, lemonade and a big plus Bruce Meyers the magician. In addition, the children were delighted when they received a backpack filled with school supplies from Rotarian Bill Toskey. The Rotary Club partners with Rick Steves and YWCA Pathways for women to provide services mothers and their children. Many are victims of domestic violence or divorce.
