The Dick’s Drive-In Change For Charity Walk-a-Thon raised more than $1,000 from customers Sunday, and will be matched by Dick’s, resulting in more than $2,000 in donations to Mary’s Place, First Place School, FareStart, ROOTS Young Adult Shelter, The Compass Center, Operation Nightwatch, St. Martin de Porres Shelter and Cocoon House.

A total of 19 participants covered 22 miles to all six Dick’s restaurants in just over 10 hours (with food breaks along the way) during the event, which started at the Edmonds Dick’s, said walk organizer and participant Lars Philips.
