  1. Mr. Matthews made a comment last night which appears to be intended to suggest that Marco Liias was somehow responsible for a suicide. I suspect he regrets that remark today, hopefully we will see an apology from Mr. Matthews. Mr. Matthews’ remark can be heard at the 1 hour and 5 minute mark (1:05).

    Yes. Mathews’ remark was tasteless, and warrants an apology to Mr. Liias. As a political move, if it was stated with forethought and intention, it hurt Mr. Mathews more than I’m sure he calculated.
