Ground was broken Monday morning for the new Fifth Avenue Veterinary Hospital, the latest addition to Edmonds’ downtown business community.

Designed by the Architectural Werks of Kirkland and built by Edmonds-based Wilcox Construction, the new 4,000-square-foot facility will open in spring 2015 at 310 5th Ave. S.

“I’m so excited to be opening my new practice in Edmonds,” said Chris Garg, DVM. “I’m looking forward to becoming part of the Edmonds community, getting to know the people, and providing lifelong care for their companion animals.”
