Warriors Select Basketball boys feeder teams to hold tryouts Oct. 8 and 14

Warrior basketballThe Warriors Boys Select Basketball feeder teams will hold tryouts on Wednesday, Oct. 8, and Tuesday, Oct. 14, from 7 to 9 p.m., at the Edmonds-Woodway High School gym.

Warriors Select Basketball is a youth basketball program for boys in 5th through 8th grades who will be attending Edmonds-Woodway High School in the future. WSB aims to provide high-quality training and competition to prepare players for the Edmonds-Woodway High School basketball program.

WSB is a non-profit, 501(c) 3 organization overseen by a volunteer board of directors. The program strives to encourage the positive attitude, enthusiasm and dedication it takes to be successful at basketball – and life.

The four WSB teams — for 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th grades — compete in the AAU-sanctioned Wesco Youth Basketball League, playing other high school feeder teams in Snohomish and North King counties. Teams play more than 30 games each season and registration fees are priced with budget-conscious families in mind.
