Thanks to the support of more than 200 community members, sponsors, and vendors, Clothes For Kids raised more than $6,000 at last week’s Brew & Bluegrass event at the Northshore Senior Center.
Big E Ales was named the No. 1 Brewery and Chandler Reach took the No. 1 Winery honors, both for the second year in a row.
The following sponsors’ underwriting allowed 100 percent of ticket sales and contributions made at the event to go directly to Clothes For Kids: Premier Sponsor Gerber Collision, Brew Sponsors Beresford Booth PLLC and Smile Now Dental; Community Sponsors Electronic Business Machines, Umpqua Bank, and Eyes on Fremont; and Media Sponsor My Neighborhood News Network.
Band performing included Lucky 7, Stillwater Hill, and Pickled Okra (“First time to hear Journey done bluegrass” said one guest.) The bands donated their time and talent to the event.
Breweries and wineries who donated their product and time were: Big E Ales, River Time Brewing, Maritime Pacific Brewing, Ninkasi Brewing, Chandler Reach Vineyards, and Refuge & Prospect Winery.
