The Port of Edmonds Commission took the following actions at its Monday, Oct. 13 meeting:

• Reviewed the 2015 preliminary budget. A public hearing on the preliminary budget will be held at the next commission meeting on Oct. 27; the budget is scheduled for approval on Nov. 10. Major items to be voted on at that time include the 2015 Operating and Capital budgets, new rates and fees, and the 2015 tax levy.

Heard a report on the State Auditor’s audit of the Port’s 2012 and 2013 financial statements and the accountability audit report. No major discrepancies were noted.

The next public Commission meeting will be at 7 p.m., Monday, Oct. 27,  in the Commission meeting room. There will be a public hearing on the 2015 preliminary budget.
