Edmonds-Woodway vs. Glacier Peak football game postponed due to school shootings

The Friday, Oct. 24 Edmonds-Woodway High School varsity football game with Glacier Peak High School at Edmonds District Stadium was been postponed due to the school shootings at Marysville-Pilchuck High School.

The game has been rescheduled for next Monday, Oct. 27 at 7:30 p.m. at Edmonds Stadium. As a result, the EWHS girls soccer game scheduled for that evening at the stadium has been moved back to 5:15 p.m., and the soccer team’s JV game has been rescheduled for 3:15 p.m. that day.

The Snohomish School District canceled all after-school activities Friday in the aftermath of the Marysville-Pilchuck shootings, which left two people dead, including the shooter, and four wounded.  You can read more about the shooting in this story from our online news partner The Seattle Times.
