Edmonds-Woodway High School scored in the first quarter following a blocked Shorewood punt and never looked back as the Warriors downed the Thunderbirds 55-14 Friday night and remained in contention for a Wesco South playoff berth.

Next up for the Warriors is a must-win game against Glacier Peak next Friday at Edmonds Stadium. The winner will clinch the third and final playoff seed out of the Wesco 3A/2A South.
