The Francis Anderson Center gym was the scene of the 33rd annual Friends of the Edmonds Library book sale on Saturday.

“This year we had more than 500 cartons of books donated,” said Darla Lane, chair of the book sale. “All books are donated by local individuals and businesses.”

Lane expects the sale will generate between $10-11 thousand. Proceeds help fund an information services scholarship at the University of Washington and the ongoing work of the Edmonds Library.

And on My Edmonds News TV, Emily Hill captured the action via this video.
