Scene in Edmonds: Waterlogged

  1. I was caught out in it at St Edward State Park in Kenmore, got soaked to the skin. There was some hail there, too.

  2. The City of Edmonds needs to spend money on a badly-needed updated storm water system. We almost flooded . . . . AGAIN! It’s a good thing the rain stopped as quick as it did.

  3. And remember that the flooding happens in a number of neighborhoods, intersections, etc., around town. It’s a city-wide concern needing some prioritization.

  4. The same type of flooding happened downtown in October of last year. Perhaps the $$$$$$$ spent on the traffic circle at Five Corners or on the Sunset Ave. walkway could have been better spent on the storm drain system downtown.
