Reminder: Scarecrow festival winners to be announced Monday, Nov. 3 at museum

2013 scarecrowWinners of Edmonds’ second annual scarecrow festival will be announced on Monday, Nov. 3, at 6 p.m. during a special reception at the Edmonds Historical Museum. Housed in the newly-renovated 1910 Carnegie Library, the museum is located at 118 Fifth Ave. N. in downtown Edmonds. Light refreshments and beverages will be provided. The public and all scarecrows are invited!

The Edmonds Scarecrow Festival is one more community project of the Edmonds Historical Museum. The museum also sponsors the Summer Market, the spring Garden Market, the Halloween Haunted Museum, and the annual Heritage Days Banquet and Auction.

The museum is open year-round between 1 and 4 p.m. Wednesday through Sunday, but opens at 10 a.m. on market days. Suggested donation in lieu of an admission fee is $5 for adults and $2 for students.
