The first photo was taken at Marina Beach, where I was out photographing Thursday afternoon. The combination of high tide + high winds + late afternoon sunshine made for very interesting photos of large waves.
I love to be at Marina Beach/dog beach during high winds and tides as that seems to be the apex of nature. Think of the wild ferry ride that would be if the ferry was moved down there! Great Picture!
Third day in the life of Edmonds…….We just got back from seeing and photographing 9 NINE! Herons resting peacefully on the ground at the marsh and they appeared to be sunning themselves for hours. An incredible site at the marsh with the sun making everything glisten and so alive. Photograph coming soon.
Also, yesterday afternoon from Sunset Ave. the sea with all the white caps made it look like we had a million little icebergs floating on our water……That was also an incredible, surreal image…….I’m sure plenty of people got photographs of that too.
