Snohomish County Councilmember Stephanie Wright was elected to serve as Vice President of the Washington State Association of Counties (WASC) last week.
Votes for 2015 Executive Committee Officers were cast by WASC members during the 2014 County Leaders Conference held recently in Spokane.
“It is an honor to have the support of county officials throughout our state,” Wright said.
Councilmember Wright has previously served as WASC Secretary/Treasurer, and currently serves on the National Association of Counties (NACo) International Economic Development Task Force and the Justice and Public Safety Steering Committee.
