Fourteen “Cookie Angel” volunteers contributed to an annual effort at the home of Edmonds resident Lynn Meyer to bake and donate holiday cookies to Senior Services of Snohomish County. The 112 dozen cookies, which were bagged by volunteers at Meyer’s home on Sunday, Dec. 14, will be delivered through the agency’s Meals on Wheels program to home-bound seniors ages 60 and older in Edmonds, Lynnwood and Mountlake Terrace. The cookies will be part of the meals that the seniors receive just before Christmas.

Kathy Hashbarger, marketing manager of Chermak Construction, and Maggie Petersson, advertising and marketing director of the My Neighborhood News Network, were among the bakers who came to help bag treats on Sunday.
