Have fabulous photos of Edmonds that you’d like to share? My Edmonds News and Celebrate Edmonds are sponsoring a contest aimed at showcasing what is special about our city. Best of all, the winning entries will be displayed at the Edmonds Bookshop and Walnut Street Coffee — and the top winner in each of the three age categories will receive gift certificates from those establishments.

Here are the rules:
1. Enter in one of three categories: 12 and under, 13-18, and adult.
2. Email submitted images on a “one sheet” — a one-page Word (or other) document that also includes the photographer’s contact info. Each entrant can submit only four images via the one sheet.
3. Submission of images means you agree to have them published on My Edmonds News and displayed at the Edmonds Bookshop and Walnut Street Coffee.
4. Images can be taken any time in 2014, and must follow the theme – An Edmonds Kind of Year.
6. Three finalists will be chosen in each category and at that time we will request full-size photo files that will be posted on My Edmonds News for advisory voting/comments. The final decision on winners will be made by judges selected by Celebrate Edmonds and My Edmonds News.

Email your one-sheet to teresa@myedmondsnews.com. Your document should include a maximum of four images along with your name, contact information (email, mailing address and phone number) and the age category you are entering. The submission deadline is Jan. 2, 2015.
