My Edmonds News is passing along a request for financial support involving two Edmonds brothers who are well-known to many in our community. Brad and Jordan Rice’s father, Cory Rice, unexpectedly died in his sleep on Christmas Eve. The brothers had already lost their mother six years ago to brain cancer. She was 41 years old.

Both Brad, now 19 and attending Shoreline Community College, and 16-year-old Jordan played sports at Edmonds-Woodway High School. (Jordan is currently on the varsity basketball team.) A Go Fund me account has been set up so that the brothers can pay for Cory Rice’s funeral expenses and so that Jordan can obtain legal custody of his younger brother.
