With four players in double figures — including senior Natalie Kasper, who scored 28 points — the Edmonds-Woodway High School’s girls basketball team smothered Lakewood 86-32 during the Mountlake Terrace Holiday Tournament Friday night.
Kasper was named the Sound Live Sports Network Player of the Game for her performance, which included five 3-pointers.
It was the Warriors’ eighth win in nine games and came after the team’s single loss of the season, last Monday, to No. 1-ranked Blanchet High School.
Edmonds-Woodway plays Saturday at noon vs. Redmond, also part of the holiday tournament at Mountlake Terrace High School. That game will also be broadcast live on the Sound Live Sports Network.
Edmonds-Woodway scoring: Kate Wooley 5, Allie Browning 2, Mady Burdett 11, Natalie Kasper 28, Claire Fyfe 10, Keitra Jones 7, Moni Jackson 13, Lea Bakken 4, Missy Peterson 6
