Kiera Towell, who served as goalkeeper for the Edmonds-Woodway High School team that won the state 3A tournament in November, was in the net for the West team at the Girls High School All-American Game in Raleigh, North Carolina this past weekend in a 5-0 win for the West squad.

There were five players from Washington state involved in the match.

According to this story from TopDrawerSoccer.com, the West proved best for both the girls and boys All-American High School soccer matches, as the teams won both titles.
