You can now watch City of Edmonds Planning Board meetings live via the City of Edmonds website. The meetings will also be recorded and available to watch later at this link.
The Planning Board is a seven-member group of local residents appointed by the Mayor and confirmed by the City Council to provide advice on community planning issues. Members serve as volunteers and meet twice monthly, the second and fourth Wednesday evenings of each month, at 7 p.m. The next meeting is this Wednesday, Jan. 28.
All board meetings take place in the Council Chambers and are open to the public. Staff costs associated with televising the meetings were included in 2015 city budget approved by the Edmonds City Council.
This is a tremendous step for the City of Edmonds and the public process.
