Led by the 23 points of Mady Burdett, Edmonds-Woodway’s girls basketball team (10-1) earned a thrilling 81-79 overtime win over Arlington Wednesday night in Arlington.
Missy Peterson’s two free throws with seven seconds remaining in OT sealed the deal for Edmonds-Woodway over the Eagles, now 8-2. The two teams had a combined 21 3-pointers for the night; Burdett drained five of those 3’s while Arlington’s Sevi Bielser has six.
