Scene in Edmonds: Haines Wharf eagles

Gary Haakenson says he spotted this pair of eagles "chatting on the roof of Haines Wharf" Sunday morning. He took the photo at left with his cell phone. He says that when he returned later to take a photo with his camera (right), "obviously somebody had gone fishing while the other waited for breakfast!"

  1. I wonder if this is the Hutt Park pair. They used to perch on the flat top of a tall Doug fir on Hanna Park Road until the present owner of the property clear cut the trees and razed the old house to build a trophy home.
