Good photos, Denise. Most days I am at the marsh taking bird photos. My son and I were there late Wednesday afternoon, possibly while you were photographing.
The marsh is a truly amazing natural oasis tucked within the Puget Sound urbania. Even more amazing is the number of local residents that don’t know it is there. Here is a link to marsh’s “home page” on the Edmonds Parks & Rec website:

Monday’s (1/12/15) Everett Herald has a front page story about proposals to daylight Willow Creek, the main creek that flows through the marsh.
