The Port of Edmonds Port Commission during its Monday, Feb. 23 meeting:
- Authorized bid solicitations to replace 12 HVAC units on Building 3 and to replace the roof on Building 4 of the Harbor Square Business Campus.
- Agreed to join with the City of Edmonds in seeking a state grant to study the long-standing railroad grade crossing problem in Edmonds.
- Authorized a letter from the Port Commission to our State legislative delegation in support of HB-1938 and SB-5916, which would establish a permanent long-term state funding mechanism for tourism marketing.
The next commission meeting will be at 7 p.m., Monday, March 9.
