The Lynnwood Elks Lodge #2171 on Saturday will present its General MacArthur Award for service to Edmonds artist Michael Reagan.

Reagan has been creating portraits of fallen heroes from around the world and presenting them to their families for many years. Eleven years ago he fully committed himself (and his wife Cheryl) to this honorable endeavor and spends most all his days and evenings fulfilling requests he receives.

At about 7:30 p.m. Saturday, following dinner and presentations of Lodge awards, Reagan will relate how and why he brings peace and joy to so many families and comrades of these brave and honorable men and women.

For more information about the Elks see Lynnwood Elks Lodge #2171.

  2. God Bless you Michael. You use your gifts, are used as an instrument of healing, and live a meaningful life. Bless you.

  3. What a marvelous and caring gift he brings to so many people. It is an honor to be his friend.
