Battle of the Giants in Asia
China, India, and Japan are major economic, military, and political powers in Asia. What are their national, regional, and global interests? Is competition between them inevitable? On what issues do they share concerns? What kind of relationship can the U.S. expect to have with these countries?

Experts from the Henry M. Jackson School at the University of Washington will discuss the power and interests of these three countries.

Thursday, Feb. 12, 7-8:30 p.m.

  1. Hats off to our own Larry Fuell for his dedicated work that has made the Global Affairs Center a valuable resource to help citizens better understand major issues of the day. As a retired Foreign Service Officer, Larry is carrying on the objective of helping all of us be more “attentive” to issues we often do not know enough about or fully understand. This and previous series provide a meaningly public service. Thank you Larry for your good work.
