Friends of the Edmonds Library to learn about music therapy at March 26 meeting

The Friends of the Edmonds Library will meet Thursday, March 26, starting at 1 p.m. for coffee, followed by the 1:30 p.m. guest speaker, Kaylee Tilton, founder of Seattle Music Therapy.

Seattle Music Therapy uses music to bring about positive changes in the lives of individuals and groups with various needs and skill levels. An Edmonds native, Tilton is a graduate of the Berklee College of Music in Boston. “Her life lessons about loss and pain came early, but with those lessons came a profound understanding of music and healing,” the Friends of the Edmonds Library announcement said.

The meeting is at the library’s upstairs Plaza Room, 650 Main St. Admission is free.
