Reminder: Kaylee Tilton to speak at Friends of Edmonds Library meeting Thursday

Music therapist Kaylee Tilton, born and raised in Edmonds, will be the featured speaker Thursday, March 26, during the Friends of the Edmonds Library meeting, in the upstairs library Plaza Room, 650 Main Street. The meeting starts with coffee and snacks at 1 p.m. followed by the speaker at 1:30 p.m. Admission is free.

Tilton is a graduate of the Berklee College of Music in Boston, and is currently the Music Therapy Director at Aegis at Northgate, where she works with people with Alzheimers and dementia. She also maintains her private practice, Seattle Music Therapy, where she works in group home settings with individuals with special needs. An important part of her work is to educate and inform the public about the benefits and many applications of music therapy.
