The Edmonds Floretum Garden Club’s next Saturday workshop will be March 21 on Miniature Gardens, presented by Frankie Dennison, Snohomish County Master Gardener. This workshop will introduce a fun project suitable for ages 10 and up, demonstrating creative small garden projects that can be made with a friend, youth or elder.
Ideas, construction considerations and a list of possible plant materials will be shared.
Dennison studied at Edmonds Community College in the horticultural program and is a certified WSU Master Gardener. Having built a second career, she now teaches at garden clubs, Northwest botanical gardens and plant societies, 4H programs and schools on plant propagation and division, bulbs, soil biology and other specialties.
The workshop runs from 10 a.m.-noon at Coldwell Banker Bain meeting room, 108 5th Ave. S., Edmonds. Donations welcomed, no fee to attend. For more information, email janicenoe@comcast.net or call Janice at 425-345-2705.
