Edmonds Port Commission report for April 27

The Edmonds Port Commission at its April 27 meeting:

– Approved a contract for re-roofing Buildings 3 and 4 of the Harbor Square Business Campus and received a summary of first-quarter reports on Harbor Square.
– Heard a report from one of the negotiators on the salmon fishing seasons for 2015. The total Chinook (King salmon) fishing catch in the areas bordering the port will be greatly reduced from last year. The Coho (Silver) and other salmon species catch will not be significantly changed.
– Received a summary of first quarter reports on the Port’s Harbor Square Business Campus.
– Reviewed changes to marina tenant insurance requirements, including those newly mandated by the State of Washington.

The next commission meeting will be at 7 p.m. Monday, May 11, in the commission meeting room, 336 Admiral Way.
