The Asking Saves Kids (ASK) is a public safety education campaign aimed at encouraging parents to inquire about guns in homes where children play or teens gather. Sponsored by the Washington CeaseFire Foundation, the program teaches parents how to routinely “ask” about firearms when kids visit other homes or unfamiliar settings.
A presentation is scheduled for Tuesday, May 5 at 7 p.m. at the Verdant Community Wellness Center, 4710 196th St. S.W., Lynnwood (one block east of Kennelly Keys). You can learn more about ASK on the organization’s Facebook page.
