8300 block 238th Street Southwest:  A 17-year-old female was assaulted by a known suspect on her way home from school.

200 4th Avenue South: A woman parked her vehicle in downtown Edmonds, and placed her purse in the trunk with the driver’s window partially down. She returned to find purse stolen from trunk.

8600 block 244th Street Southwest: A woman reported to police that a male claiming to be working for the IRS scared her into transferring $3283.73 into an account to keep her from being arrested for back taxes.

400 3rd Avenue South: An 80-year-old woman reports sending Western Union payments totaling around $300 to a Nigerian address in return for a promise to send her winnings from the Facebook lottery in the amount of $650,000.

23900 block Hwy 99: A woman was pushed to ground and injured during an argument with her boyfriend.

21200 block 72nd Avenue West: A boyfriend beats up his girlfriend after suspecting her of cheating.

23600 Block Hwy 99: A person steals a hot dog and burrito from Safeway, then is located and arrested by police.

22900 block Edmonds Way: An unidentified person broke into a couple of sheds in church parking lot.

250 5th Ave: A city employee locates drug paraphernalia in public restroom in public safety building lobby.
