Happening nearby: Police seek help in identifying Lynnwood robbery suspects

Major Crimes detectives with the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office are asking for assistance from the public in identifying two suspects caught on surveillance robbing a store at gunpoint early on the morning of Thursday, May 7.

The video below shows two male suspects entering a store at the 3600 block of 164th St SW. in Lynnwood at around 2 a.m. One suspect, wearing a dark colored sweatshirt with his face covered, went behind the store counter and stole an unspecified amount of money. The second suspect, wearing a gray sweatshirt also with his face covered, allegedly pointed a handgun at store employees and yelled, “Don’t move!” Both suspects were wearing gloves. Video shows the two suspects running on foot from the store.
