The 6-foot-7, 266-pounder wrapped up his college career as one of Oregon State’s most prolific tight ends. He became the fifth tight end in school history to record 1,000-plus receiving yards, finishing with 104 career receptions (third in OSU history) and 1,109 receiving yards (fifth in OSU record books).

He was on the receiving end of touchdown passes from Sean Mannion nine times, which tied for the seventh most by a quarterback-receiver combination in OSU history. Hamlett recorded 29 career starts with the Beavers. In 2014, Hamlett was named to the Mackey Award Watch List given annually to the nation’s most outstanding tight end.

Hamlett underwent three surgeries on his knees during the last two years. NFL Network senior analyst Gil Brandt listed Hamlett as one of best priority free agents available following the 2015 draft.
