Edmonds police are searching for a man who robbed the Edmonds Banner Bank branch in the 7000 block of 212th Street Southwest Tuesday afternoon.
According to Edmonds police spokesman Sgt. Shane Hawley, the suspect entered the bank around 4 p.m. and presented a note to a bank teller, then fled on foot with an undetermined amount of cash.
The suspect is described as a white male, 35-45 years old, 220-250 lbs., with short brown hair and a long chin beard but no mustache. He was wearing a gray zippered sweatshirt.
Police will release a photo of the suspect on Wednesday, Hawley said.
Scary! I was in Key Bank at about the same time today! Glad they are alternating banks to rob at least…
