An Edmonds woman recently appointed to the Edmonds Sister City Commission has filed to run for the Edmonds City Council Position 5 seat now held by Councilmember Joan Bloom.
Alicia Crank, who recently moved to Edmonds from Mountain View, Calif., joins retired QWest executive David Teitzel in seeking the Position 5 seat. Bloom said last month she would not be seeking re-election to the council.
Crank, who was appointed to the Sister City Commission in March, currently works as client services coordinator for SBI Management Services in Seattle. In her prior position in Mountain View, she served as program director for Leadership Mountain View, a program of the Mountain View Chamber of Commerce. She has also worked as a trust analyst in the banking industry, and as a sales and marketing associate and search marketing specialist for technology companies.
She lists among her skills corporate and community event planning, relationship management, trade show, event and search engine marketing, customer success and program and fund development.
