Edmonds Driftwood Players announce recipients of college scholarship awards


driftwoodThe Edmonds Driftwood Players has announced the recipients of its Fall 2015 college scholarship awards:

Mariah Lotz (Edmonds Heights K-12)
Kevin Keogh (Edmonds Heights K-12)
Marissa C Wyll (Western Washington University)
Bethany Arneson (Azusa Pacific University)
Keith A Gehrig (Seattle University, MFA program in Arts Leadership)

Mariah Lotz: “She was honored for her work at our statewide 5th Ave Awards, and was nominated in two performance categories (the first student nominated in two performance categories, winning one) and for her musical direction of Pippin…Her passion and hard work is palpable and an inspiration for other students.”  By Shileah Corey, Theatre and Vocal Music Director

Bethany Arneson: “She is an engaging and convincing writer, and possesses the rare ability to make profound, abstract ideas concrete, accessible and compelling…and I have found any investment in Bethany will be returned many times over.” By Monica Ganas PhD, Professor and Interim Chair

Keith A Gehrig: “He has shown a great depth of knowledge and gleaned much wisdom from his experiences which can only aid him as an arts administrator…brings with him a background in lighting design, theatre technician, actor, director and producer.”   By David Alan Morrison
