Edmonds police ID vehicle, ‘persons of interest’ in home invasion robbery

Edmonds police have identified a vehicle of interest in the home invasion robbery that took place on Monday, June 15.

Police are looking to identify a white SUV seen in the area before the robbery. “It was described as being ‘boxy,’ possibly a Jeep Cherokee or Land Rover,” said Edmonds police spokesman Sgt. Shane Hawley. “Two men were seen getting out of the vehicle in the area around the time of the robbery and walking towards the victim’s residence.”

Two men in the vehicle are also “persons of interest,” Hawley said. The driver was a white male, 40-50 years of age. He had brown hair and was wearing a dress shirt. The passenger was also a white male, 30-40 years of age. He had longer, black curly hair. He was wearing a blue and black plaid shirt.

Both men were seen walking from the area, back to the SUV, carrying a tube — similar to what large paperwork such as blueprints would be stored in, Hawley said — and a small black leather-type pouch.

Anyone with information is asked to call the police tip line at 425-771-0212.
